Will we get a receipt for our donations?

Yes, we will issue a receipt in your name, for the donation you make.

Will I get tax exemption for my donation?

Currently, we are in the process of acquiring the 80G certificate. Once we receive the certification, tax exemption on donations will be applicable.

How do I know where my money is being used?

We have a list of monthly requirements that are shared on our crowdfunding portals. In case you are making a cash donation, we can send you this breakup via email. For the sake of transparency, we will also be happy to send you soft copies/images of any receipts applicable to your donation

Can I choose what I can donate for?

Yes, absolutely! However, if we get multiple donation enquiries for the same item, we will have to give priority based on time of commitment made. Nonetheless, as most of our expenses are recurring on a monthly basis, you can choose to donate for that item the next month(s).

Does Yein Udaan accept donations once its target is met?

Yes, we will be accepting donations even when our monthly targets are met. These funds will be used for next month’s functioning.
